IRS Releases Proposed Regulations for SECURE Act

On Wednesday, February 23, 2022, the IRS released proposed regulations (REG-105954-20) for the Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement (Secure) Act of 2019 (P.L. 116-94).

The proposed regulations have a 90-day public comment period, ending May 25, 2022; and a public hearing is scheduled for June 15. You can submit a formal comment at the Federal Register's website.
