The chart below provides an overview of some of the requirements in the NYC Housing Maintenance Code, especially when preparing residential, market leases. As you can see, leases (and lease renewals) for multiple dwelling units have more requirements than those for one- or two-family homes. After adding all of the required attachments, my lease package for a multiple-dwelling unit is 54 pages long.
