EPTL 3‑6.2(c) defines “electronic” for purposes of the New York Electronic Will Act by cross‑reference to the State Technology Law, as follows:
§ 3-6.2 Definitions
For purposes of this part the following terms shall have the following meanings:

(c) "Electronic" shall have the same meaning set forth in subdivision one of section three hundred two of the state technology law.
EPTL 3-6.2(c) becomes effective on December 12, 2027. See L. 2026, ch. 89 (S.8887 / A.9497).

- STL § 302(1): "'Electronic' shall mean of or relating to technology having electrical, digital, magnetic, wireless, optical, electromagnetic, or similar capabilities."
